Two weeks ago I posted a photo of myself with a guy in a squirrel costume on Instagram. Since it wasn’t one of my typical photos, the comments and questions flooded in. So today I’m filling you in…and how I was part of something that raised over $19,000!
The event was SnowBash, presented by Clif Bar, in benefit of the Northwest Avalanche Center. The location was perfect – at evo, Seattle’s infamous Ski, Snowboard, Skate, Bike, Surf and Wake Shop. My husband joined me for the party which included local beer, music, raffles, games, and the best photo booth by Snapbar!
Now about that squirrel photo…most of you assumed it was my husband – sorry – you will rarely see him in photos (even with a mask on) – he is more of a behind the scenes guy (I know opposite of me!). So the squirrel was part of a contest for the evening – if you find the squirrel, take a photo and share on Instagram, you were entered to win a year’s supply of Clif Bars and tons of swag. I was a guest of Clif Bar so wanted to join in on the fun!
Clif Bar, evo and the Northwest Avalanche Center put on a great party, all while raising $19,340.81! The NWAC is an incredible organization, that everyone in the Pacific Northwest should be supporting, as they help keep us safe through weather and avalanche forecasting, data collection and education. If you’d like to make a donation, you can do so HERE!
And for the winning photo from #ClifSnowbash16…
Thanks to my friend’s at Clif Bar for hosting a memorable party and for getting me hooked on their new Clif Nut Butter Filled Bars…can’t.stop.eating. #Obsessed
Disclosure: I received complimentary tickets and a gift in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed here represent my own, which I take great pride in providing pure honesty…because I’m OBSESSED with sharing the Good!
